Delete your Kindling account
Two ways to do it. Either one removes everything we hold in the cloud for you.
From inside the app
Open Kindling, then Settings, then Backup, then Delete cloud backup and account. Confirm, and it is done: your cloud backup is erased and the account is deleted. Google may ask you to sign in again to confirm the deletion; that is Google's safeguard, not ours.
Without the app
If you have already uninstalled Kindling, or cannot sign in, email us from the Google account's email address and we will delete the backup and the account within 7 days, then reply to confirm.

What is deleted, and what is not
- Deleted: your cloud backup (habits, marked days, settings) and your Kindling account with Google's Firebase Authentication. Google removes deleted authentication data from its live and backup systems within 180 days.
- Not touched: whatever is on your phone. Kindling keeps working without an account, and Export to file still gives you a copy.
- Separate: a Premium subscription is managed by Google Play and is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in Google Play, or from Kindling's Settings, which links you straight there. Your purchase history with our subscription service, RevenueCat, can be deleted on request in the same email.
